The Old Grand-Dad Club Netherlands Foundation, OGD for short, works for good causes, for young people with disabilities. The charities involve projects in sports, games and exercise. Since its establishment in 1974, the OGD has had branches at more than 120 national golf clubs.
Our over 6,000 Golfing Grandfathers, spread throughout the Netherlands and divided into eight regions, donate an average of €28 annually, so together about €170,000 a year. This money goes to some 50 projects for these young people.
The more than one hundred and fifty active volunteers dedicate themselves completely unpaid to the annual charities and the organisation of golf activities for the grandfather donors within the foundation.
