The course management committee is responsible for the management of the course, particularly at a strategic and tactical level. Operational management of course maintenance is the primary responsibility of the head greenkeeper. The work is carried out by the contractor SBA Golf & Groen BV. The New Golfers’ Support Committee aims to help new golfers feel at home in the club as quickly as possible by introducing them to all aspects of De Peelse Golf. The committee has a number of mentors who, when desired, will walk the course with new golfers to familiarise them with the course, the club and the customs of the game of golf.
The approximately 20 marshals at De Peelse Golf are committed to acting as hosts for the club. In doing so, they will pay particular attention to guests on the course. The marshals strictly but fairly monitor compliance with the rules of conduct. We now expect our own members to know how to behave on the course; any inappropriate behaviour will be reported. Should members have any comments or concerns, please discuss these privately with the marshal. We aim to guide and welcome guests, inform them about how things work at De Peelse Golf and answer any questions they may have, so that they, like our members, feel at home. Naturally, the marshal will ensure that everything is carried out as set out in the Marshal Protocol. It goes without saying that the marshals will support golfing activities wherever necessary and possible.
If immediate and urgent assistance from the marshal is required, they can be reached by telephone. The marshal’s telephone number is printed on De Peelse Golf’s scorecard: +31 (0)6 1254 3996 or +31 (0)77 467 8030 (press 5). As you may be aware, there is currently an AED not only on the marshal’s cart but also in the hall of our clubhouse by the entrance door. In the marshal’s absence, the AED from the marshal’s cart will be placed in the changing rooms.
The Technical Committee (TC) aims to enable golfers at De Peelse Golf to improve their game and to encourage as many players as possible to make use of this opportunity. To this end, they organise training sessions, provide practice facilities and encourage participation in tournaments. The Technical Committee works in collaboration with the Golf Tournament Committee and various other committees.

There are various tournament committees active at De Peelse Golf. The enthusiastic volunteers from five tournament committees organise a wide range of weekly or monthly tournaments.

Defibrillator – De Peelse Golf has two AEDs that can be used in the event of cardiac arrest.
One AED is located in the hall of the clubhouse near the entrance door. The other AED is carried around the course by the marshal during duty hours. Outside these hours, this AED is mounted on the wall in the changing room, directly next to the inner door by the red arrow.
CPR courses – The life support committee organises a number of CPR courses for our members every spring. During these CPR sessions, participants not only practise the technique of CPR on a manikin, but the use of the AED is also explained, demonstrated and practised.
Upon arrival at De Peelse Golf, you’ll always be warmly greeted by one of the volunteers from the reception team. They extend a warm welcome to guests and are on hand to offer advice and assistance to members of De Peelse. You can approach them with any queries or to collect scorecards, and guests can settle their bills there.
But the reception team does more than that. They answer phone calls, book tee times, organise flights, reserve handicarts, ensure green fee tickets are ready and prepare envelopes for Sunday’s guests. They also sell small accessories, such as golf gloves, balls and tees.
The volunteer reception team, in collaboration with the secretariat, is on duty daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
