On Mondays, the Golf on Monday tournament committee organises a club competition. Members aged 18 and above are welcome to participate.
We normally play a three-ball individual stableford match in 2 handicap categories: handicap 29 or below and handicap 29.1 and above. During the period when the course is Qualifying, 21 tournaments are designated for the Golf on Monday Challenge Trophy A-cat. and B-cat., the 12 best results count.
We also play several three-ball stableford Texas scramble ambrose tournaments per season, and a Fox Hunt after the Closing Day. Registration for the respective Monday match can be done until 12 noon of the preceding Sunday. Register via the golfdashboard app and click on tournaments.
After the flight allocation has been made by the tournament management, you will receive the start list on Sunday evening generally before 20:00 via the golfdashboard app and e-mail. In the start list you will find the flight schedule, your tee time and your tournament playing handicap. For tournaments played in winter time, the first flight starts at 10.16 a.m. During summer time, the first flight starts at 9.28 a.m. After that, you start every 8 minutes.
On tournament day, make sure you are on time at the teebox of hole 1 and check in. There will be a digital scorecard in your Golf Dashboard, in which you have to enter the gross score of yourself and your marker after each hole. You enter your scores via your Golf Dashboard no later than immediately after the tournament. After processing by the tournament management, the results will be announced and prizes will be awarded per handicap category to the first 3 participants in the results. In case of low participation, fewer prizes will be awarded. Birdies will be highlighted at the prize-giving ceremony by presenting a birdie statuette (when the summer greens are played). There will also be a nice prize for an eagle or a hole-in-one.
To cover costs, the entry fee is €3 per participation. Entry fees are charged at least twice a year via e-mail.
On the first Monday of October, the Final Day is organised. On this day, a three-ball Texas scramble ambrose tournament (shotgun) will be played. Afterwards, we will have a friendly get-together with dinner. During dinner, the award ceremony of the day's prizes and the Golf on Monday Challenge Trophy A-cat., B-cat. and the overall winner will be held.
