De Peelse Golf has two AEDs that can be deployed when heart failure occurs. When deployed for heart failure, the AED gives clear spoken instructions to the rescuer on how to act.
One AED hangs in the hall of the clubhouse near the entrance door. The other AED is taken around the course by the marshal during duty hours. Outside these hours, this AED is fixed to the wall in the locker room right next to the inner door by the red arrow.
Every spring, the life support committee organises a number of CPR lessons for our members. In such a resuscitation lesson, not only the technique of resuscitation is practised on a resuscitation manikin but also the use of the AED is explained, demonstrated and practised.
You will find a first aid kit at the reception desk and one at the marshal's office.
The life support committee ensures that used bandages are replenished.
On behalf of our association, the committee wants to show interest in sad, but also specific joyful events of our members. For this, we do depend on information. You can pass this on to the secretariat or to Trees Ebus, a member of the committee.
